Payment Information
As a fee-for-service dental practice, we collect payment for treatment and consultations at the time of service from you. While we don’t take insurance directly, our team is happy to show you how to file your insurance claim so you can receive maximum reimbursement. We print out the dental and/or medical claim forms for you with the procedure code already filled out. We show you how to fill out a couple of questions on the top of the form, and then you mail it in for reimbursement. Hence, you would pay us the day of the visit and then seek reimbursement from the insurance company.
We are finding out that about 95-90% of our patients who have dental insurance are getting covered and reimbursed. The success with medical insurance is not as high, only because there is usually a significant out-of-network medical deductible that needs to be met. So, although the medical insurance is covering the cost, most patients don’t end up with actual reimbursement, just payment towards their out-of-network deductible.
