Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Witkoff grew up in a dental office! His father was a highly respected general and cosmetic dentist and served as the chairman of the esthetics division at the Dade County Dental Research Clinic for several decades. Although his father would have loved for him to have followed in his footsteps as a general dentist, he knew he found his calling once he got a taste of pediatric dentistry.

His empathy, compassion, and genuine love of working with kids has served him well in helping his patients work through dental anxiety- both young children and adults. Then, once he began learning about the benefits of lip and tongue tie release, and the impact it can have on patients, there was no turning back. So, he is now a sub-specialist of this intriguing facet of dentistry.
